Its members are dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of school library media specialists and to quality education in Georgia's schools. GLMA, Inc. is the state affiliate to the American Association of School Libraries (AASL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA).
International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
(ISTE) is the trusted source in education technology for professional development, knowledge generation, and advocacy. A nonprofit membership organization, ISTE provides leadership and service to improve teaching and learning in K-12 and teacher education through the effective use of technology. Home of the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS), the Center for Applied Research in Education Technology (CARET), and the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), ISTE represents more than 85,000 leaders and potential leaders worldwide.

Young Adult Services Association (YALSA)
The mission of YALSA is to advocate, promote and strengthen service to young adults and to support those who provide service to this population. YALSA is a division of the American Library Association.
