Jan. 9, 2013 -- The State Board of Education will hold a two day meeting Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, and Thursday,
Jan. 17, 2013.
The meetings will be held in the State Board Room, 2070 Twin Towers East.
The State Board of Education will conduct
a hearing for the Dekalb County Board of Education in accordance with O.C.G.A. §
20-2-73, relating to recommendations for potential suspension of local
boards of education for governance related issues. The hearing will begin
at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 17, and is open to the public for observation.
