| Description of Duties: | Responsible for providing educational interpreting/transliterating services for students, staff and visitors at all levels, in a variety of situations. Providing general sign language support and consultation to the necessary departments/individuals on an as needed basis. Some off-campus interpreting may be required. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | Certificate of Interpretation (CI), Certificate of Transliteration (CT), Comprehensive Skills Certificate (CSC), or National Interpreter Certification (NIC) |
| Preferred Qualifications: | Preference will be given to applicants who hold a Master’s degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Linguistics, ASL Interpretation, or another related advanced degree. |
| Salary/Benefits: | Part-time, hourly position with no benefits. Hourly pay rate of $35.00 - $50.00, commensurate with employment experience. Note: The work hours for this position are on a "as needed" basis. |
